Currently Listening: Keith Urban - You'll Think Of Me
Finally, after 10 gruelling weeks, we're finally on our 2 week spring break. Though it's called a break, there's still a stack of assignments to be completed this break. What's worse was this, Mr. Tan, my law lecturer just announced that our Business Law Assignment is going to be due the day we go back to college to continue with our studies.
What really scares me and sends chills down my spines is this, 10 weeks have just seemed to whiz by. Little did I realize that we've already completed 10 weeks of studies, and we've gone so far, yet so near. Once again, reality hits me in the face, tertiary education isn't something that's particularly enjoyable. Even as I sit here typing this post frantically, I can't seem to churn out much to say. My mind's probably dry from preparing for my Mangement Accounting assessment today. I can say that this time, I was confident, I had my head up high and I didn't let anything stop me from doing my best.
I dragged my lazy, half-dead, fainéant self out of bed this morning at 7.45 to wash up. By 8.40am, I was already in college. Kelvin & I decided to go there early this morning to do a little revising, just to make sure that we're completely prepared for the exam. As I sat that, I dementedly redid my whole set of questions in about 45 minutes. I was proud of myself then, I knew that it's going to be a good day. Nothing could stop me from achieving today, I just had to score. For once in my life, I didn't feel the stress, I didn't feel the intensity nor pressure for sitting for an accounts paper. I guess all the hard work I put in the last few nights have embodied into a form of confidence that's imperishable.
Finally, my 2 week break begins, I guess it's time to catch up with some old friends who are back for their holidays. Speaking of this, I shall stop my post here, I've got a date with some friends tonight. Nothing beats the feeling of talking around the mamak table with close friends, conversations amongst good friends are invaluable and priceless.
